Request Emergency ServiceWe're based at 28 Blackwood Road, Geebung — central to Brisbane's Northside. That keeps us close to inner-north suburbs like Chermside, Nundah, and Aspley, and within our 60-minute response target across to Sandgate and Shorncliffe on the Bayside, or out west to Mitchelton and Ferny Grove.
The Northside spans more than a century of housing stock, and the plumbing problems vary with it. Pre-war inner-north homes can still have galvanised pipework or aging clay sewer lines, the Bayside corridor sees more salt-air corrosion on copper and hot water tanks, and outer-north estates eventually need hot water replacements as systems age past their service life. We turn up with stocked vans and a licensed team for every Northside callout, day or night.
Brisbane's Northside is a wide stretch with very different housing stock and infrastructure across its suburbs. Below is a quick geographic snapshot of where we operate most regularly.

Major Northside hub anchored around the Westfield precinct. Mix of older houses, post-war units, and modern apartment developments — a wide variety of plumbing systems.
Outer-north corridor along Gympie Road. Mix of post-war housing and 1980s–90s estates, so plumbing issues range from older system replacements through to standard maintenance work.
Coastal suburbs on Moreton Bay. Salt air is a known accelerator of corrosion on exposed copper and hot water systems — older Bayside properties often need replacements sooner than inland.
Established inner-Northside suburbs with character Queenslanders and mature gardens. Areas with older clay sewer infrastructure are more prone to tree-root blockages.
Western edge of the Northside, backing onto bushland and reactive-clay soil zones. Soil movement in wet seasons is a known contributor to underground pipe stress in this region.
Brisbane's Northside has housing stock spanning over a century. The era a home was built in often points to the kinds of plumbing problems that are most likely to crop up. Below is a general guide based on common industry knowledge of older Brisbane housing — not a guarantee of what's in your home specifically.
Suburbs: Wilston, Windsor, Wooloowin, Lutwyche, Newmarket, Kelvin Grove, Albion, Hamilton, Clayfield, Grange.
Common issues for this era: Galvanised steel water pipes (which can corrode internally and restrict flow), older clay sewer lines vulnerable to tree-root infiltration, and aging copper joints where pinhole leaks may develop over decades.
Suburbs: Stafford, Kedron, Wavell Heights, Chermside, Aspley, Banyo, Geebung, Boondall, Zillmere.
Common issues for this era: Hot water systems from this period are well past their typical 10–15 year service life and are common candidates for replacement. Cast-iron drainage from this era can also be approaching end-of-life depending on installation conditions.
Suburbs: Bald Hills, Carseldine, Bracken Ridge, Fitzgibbon, McDowall, Mango Hill (Moreton Bay border).
Common issues for this era: Modern PEX and copper piping generally holds up well. Most callouts in newer estates relate to blocked drains, hot water faults, fixture replacements, and gas-fitting work that requires a licensed plumber.
Suburbs: Sandgate, Shorncliffe, Brighton, Bracken Ridge (eastern half).
Common issues for this area: Salt-laden coastal air is a well-known accelerator of corrosion on exposed copper, brass fittings, hot water tanks, and outdoor gas hardware. Coastal Bayside homes often need component replacements earlier than equivalent inland properties.
